It would have the "Super Duty" Ford designed heavy truck engine which came in three sizes, can not remember the smallest but the other 2 are a 477 and 534. The 534 would run with a 220 Cummins and pass everything but a gas station!!

May 23, 2013 · Remove the 2x4, start spreading while raising the bed. It may not give you a super smooth spread but will save you the time & material for building a tailgate you may only use once in a while. Jan 31, 2011 · Pto pump dump. Has a sissor hoist for an 11 foot dump bed. Last week we scaled in at 4,000 in the bed pretty much equally distributed and the hoist would not raise the bed. It would dump 3500 lbs, but not 4. This is a problem since this truck is rated to handle 7,000 plus in the bed. When empty the bed flies up no problem, almost too fast.

Apr 05, 2013 · Now that I have the dump trailer all set up, the previous owner said he once blew the cylinder out because he raised the bed too high or too far out.
